Join Yoga Cville for a quick start to learn the fundamentals of Iyengar Yoga in a small group setting.

Developed by B.K.S Iyengar in the 1960s, this practice is a style of yoga that places emphasis on body precision and alignment and is excellent for building strength and flexibility.

New or returning to yoga? Iyengar is a great style to study postures and learn the subtleties of correct alignment for all ages and abilities.

REQUIRED PROPS:

Bring your own yoga mat. All other props are available in-studio.

DETAILS:

  • Time: 5:30pm - 6:45pm (75-minutes)

  • In-studio only with class size limited to 12 participants

  • Contiguous attendance highly recommended to understand and build on weekly lessons

  • Drop-in or use a monthly class pass
