Inversion Exploration Part 2: Headstand

Join us for an exploration of Headstand (Sirsasana) and enjoy the wonders of being upside down!
We will break down the actions of Sirsasana through preparatory poses that build strength and stability. We’ll also work on ways to develop strong shoulders and a stable core.
CIYT Mary Bridle will share alignment tips and tricks to help us get set and lift off the ground.
We’ll plan to work at the wall. For yogis ready to move their headstand away from the wall and start balancing in the middle of the room, this workshop will target key areas to help you get there.
This inversion workshop is suitable for students able to come into Salamba Sarvangasana (shoulderstand) and stay there steadily for ~3 minutes.
