Yoga on the Ropes Workshop

Join Yoga Cville and Amy Stewart for a Rope Wall Yoga Workshop.
We’ll use the yoga wall to explore familiar poses and allow you to add different actions to your practice. You’ll love how the rope wall lengthens the spine and opens up the joints with the body's weight.
It allows your spine to extend much further than in normal yoga poses, making you feel taller and allowing you to go deeper in other poses like backbends or rope-supported inversions.
The rope wall was first developed by the late B.K.S. Iyengar. He secured simple ropes from a window gate, allowing a yoga practitioner to go deeper in various poses while being held by suspended ropes.
