A 3-session workshop for runners, hikers, and walkers. Yoga is a great complement to these activities, because it helps increase mobility, flexibility, balance, and strength.  And just as important: the practice of Iyengar yoga includes poses that allow your muscles to recuperate and your body to relax, so that you can get back out there with confidence and ease.

This workshop consists of three 90 minute classes. 1:30-3:00 pm.

 

Sunday, January 7th:  Length, Strength and Balance

 

Sunday, January 14th: Core Strength and Spinal Mobility

 

Sunday, January 21st: Rest and Recover

 

The workshop will be led by Amy Stewart, who has taught yoga for five years and is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor.  Amy is also a runner herself, and can help guide you to a safer, more fulfilling exercise life.

Open to all, from those new to yoga to experienced practitioners.
